GamADEKs™ product line is developed using the state of the art pharmaceutical technology to enhance absorption of oil-soluble vitamins and other nutrients.
GamADEKs™ product line is specifically formulated with amounts of vitamins (especially vitamin D and K) that meet or exceed all most recent scientific studies and recommendations for cystic fibrosis (CF) patients.

- There are many essential micronutrients that are not soluble in water. They are commonly referred as “oil soluble” or “fat soluble” nutrients. Good examples of these are Vitamins A, D, E and K.
- To be absorbed and used by the body, they are “emulsified” (mix into) water within the digestive tube, making very small, easily absorbed dispersed particles.
- Normally our body does this process by secretin enzymes from the pancreas and bile salts from the liver. These substances normally emulsify the oil soluble nutrients, making suitable to be absorbed.
- But when there is a problem in the digestive systems and there are fewer bile salts or pancreatic enzymes, or they are not available (due to a CF condition, for example), the result is a condition called “Malabsorption”, where essential micronutrients are not absorbed. Malabsorption can lead to a deficiency of these oil soluble vitamins and micronutrients in the body, which can bring serious adverse consequences*.

All GamADEKs™ products are formulated, developed and manufactured with a State of the Art Technology to increase bioavailability of the oils soluble essential micronutrients.
This Pharmacotechnical Technology helps to overcome the diminished level of pancreatic enzymes and bile salts, by emulsifying the oily micronutrients and forming what is called a “Gamma form Micelle”, using a proprietary State of the Art Technology. When the Gamma Form Micelle is delivered in the digestive tract, they collaborate in the micronutrients absorption*.
